A report from Fox-29 Philly said the stabbing happened on the 2700 block of West Lehigh Avenue at around 1:57 a.m. on Saturday morning.
First responding police officers at the scene reported finding a 61-year old woman suffering from stab wounds to her right hand, shoulder, and back. She was rushed to Temple University Hospital where she was last reported to be in critical condition. A 51-year old woman was stabbed in the head. She was also transported to Temple University Hospital where she was last reported to be in stable condition. A possible motive for the stabbings was not reported.
No weapon was recovered and no arrests have been made at this time.
