A 51-year old man was killed and a 34-year old man was injured during a double shooting in the Kensington section of the city yesterday.

PHILADELPHIA, P.A: TWO MEN WERE INJURED DURING A DOUBLE SHOOTING IN KENSINGTON ON THURSDAY MORNING/PHOTO: NBC-10 PHILLY

A report from CBS-3 Philly said the shooting happened on the 100 block of East Somerset Street at around 11 a.m. on Thursday morning.

The 51-year old victim was reportedly shot multiple times. Once in his chest and once in the right leg. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. The 31-year old victim was shot once in the left shoulder. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was last reported to be in stable condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.

No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time.
