A report from CBS-3 Philly said the shooting happened on the 5100 block of Callowhill Street at around 9:00 p.m. on Friday night.
The victim was reportedly shot multiple times throughout his body. He was rushed to a nearby hospital by police. The victim was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. Police said they recovered at least 20 spent shell casings at the scene. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time.
