A report from 6-ABC Action News said the shooting happened on the 3600 block of North 5th Street at around 11:00 p.m. on Saturday night.
The 26-year old victim was reportedly shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A 33-year old man was shot once in the leg. He was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was last reported to be in stable condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time. An investigation is ongoing.
