A report from Fox-29 Philly said the shooting happened at 27th & Oakdale Streets at around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday night.
The teen was shot once in the left knee. He was rushed to a nearby hospital by police where he was last reported to be in critical condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time.
