A report from The Independent said the incident happened at Welsh Elementary School in Rockford, Illinois at around 9:35 a.m. on September 11th.
Police said Barfield arrived at the school for a meeting with the principal. That was when the principal noticed several bags of cocaine falling from her clothes. As the principal attempted to collect the bags of cocaine falling from Barfield’s clothes, she reportedly attacked him at that point. The principal suffered multiple minor injuries during the attack.
Police said they did not know if Barfield had a child attending the school, or why she was meeting with the principal in the first place. Barfield was taken into custody at the scene. Her charges were not reported.
