A report from 6-ABC Action News said the shooting happened on the 3400 block of North 21st Street at around 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
The woman was reportedly shot in the face. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was last reported to be in critical condition.
Police say a weapon was recovered and an arrest was made at the scene. A possible motive for the shooting has not been revealed at this time.
