A report from Fox-29 Philly said the collision happened at the intersection of Frankford Avenue & Academy Road in the Holmesburg section of the city at around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday night.
Police said the victim crashed into a Kia Sorento that was making a left turn at the intersection. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the victim was one of multiple people riding scooters and dirt bikes together. All of the bike riders fled the scene after the accident, according to witnesses.
No arrests have been made at this time. The driver of the Kia remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities as they investigate the accident.
