A report from 6-ABC Action News said the incident happened at a gentleman’s club near 61st & Passyunk Avenue on Saturday night.
Police investigators said the argument started inside of the club. A man and woman who were together were reportedly arguing with a group of men, before the argument spilled outside. At that point the argument turned physical. Both parties went to their respective cars after the tussle, but continued to argue as they did.
Investigators said the man with the woman got out of his car and confronted the men, who were inside of a Dodge Durango. Inspectors said that was when the Dodge Durango ran into the man, pushing him 70 feet off the roadway and into a nearby gully. The man was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Investigators are combing through surveillance video as they attempt to get a better idea of the events. No arrests have been reported at this time.
