Among the charges announced on Friday by U.S. Attorney Jaqueline Romero, Sadowski is alleged to have concealed the victim’s death to steal her Social Security benefits to the tune of around $100,000. A report from Fox-29 Philly said the victim was last seen alive on around December 12, 2012. The victim had reportedly been receiving Disability Insurance Benefits due to an intellectual disorder. A forensic anthropologist estimated that the victim had died between 4-10 years before the body was found in 2022.
Prosecutors are accusing Sadowski of accessing the victim’s bank account and stealing her Social Security Benefits for her own use. Sadowski has also been accused of using the victim’s name, date of birth, and Social Security number to continue accessing the account that held the benefits.
Sadowski is facing 107-years behind bars if convicted of all charges.
