A report from 6-ABC Action News said police responded to a call of a shooting at 17th Street & Belfied Avenue at around 6:15 p.m. on Thursday evening.
First responding police officers at the scene reported finding the 37-year old victim inside of the minivan suffering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he was last reported to be in stable condition.
Police say surveillance video showed the victim talking or arguing with someone in an SUV shortly before the shooting. Police believe the suspect may have fired the shots from inside of the SUV because no shell casings were found at the scene.
Police do not have a solid description of the vehicle (SUV) at this time. No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time.
