Two teens were reportedly shot and injured during a double shooting on the Olney section of the city in the early hours this morning.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said police believe the shooting happened at two locations. The first location was reportedly on the 200 block of Duncannon Avenue near A Street at around 2:20 a.m. on Monday morning. The second location was next to the athletic fields at Olney High School.
Both teens were rushed to nearby hospitals. One teen was last reported to be in critical condition. The other teen was last reported to be in stable condition. The ages of the teenagers was not reported, and neither was a possible motive for the shooting.
Police said the second scene is possibly tied to a different double shooting that happened near Whitaker Avenue, about a half mile away from this one, but it may be tied to the shooting at the Duncannon Avenue location. Both shootings are under investigation. No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time.
