Four armed suspects reported robbed a convenience store for a large amount of money in the Mayfair section of the city last night.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said the robbery happened at a convenience store located on the 2800 block of Tyson Avenue at around 10:00 p.m. on Saturday night.
Investigators said three armed men entered the store through the back door and forced three employees to the ground before robbing the business. Police did not say exactly how much money the robbers got away with, but they did say “a substantial amount of cash” was stolen during the robbery. The robbers fled the scene in a waiting getaway car. No description of the getaway car was given.
None of the employees of the store were reported to be physically injured. Police said they are searching surveillance cameras in the area in an attempt to locate the suspects. An investigation is ongoing.
