DonateDonate monthlyDonate yearlyA 24-year old woman was reportedly killed when she was struck by a pickup truck that continued down the road after striking the victim in the Hunting Park section of the city early this morning.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said the incident happened on the 4300 block of North Front Street at around 3:41 a.m. on Thursday morning.
The victim was rushed to Temple University Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival. Police said two other passengers were inside of the pickup truck that struck the victim. The vehicle in question was last seen heading Southbound on N. Front Street.
No arrests have been made at this time. An investigation is ongoing.
