A report from 6-ABC Action News said the shooting happened on the 1500 block of Snyder Avenue at around 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
First arriving police at the scene reported finding the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead shortly afterward. Investigators said the victim was shot as he was riding his bike. The shooters continued shooting even after the victim was on the ground. Over 40-shots were fired at the victim, with multiple rounds striking the victim throughout the body.
“This particular victim appears to have been targeted, shot execution-style. The shooters are seen on camera standing over the victim’s body after he was shot, falls to the ground and they’re still standing over him, shooting him multiple times”, said Philadelphia Chief Inspector Scott Small.
Police said the suspects were last seen heading Eastbound on Snyder Avenue in a dark-colored sedan. No arrests have been made at this time and police said no weapons were recovered at the scene.
