A report from Fox-29 Philly said the shooting happened on the 1100 block of West Girard Avenue at around 8:00 a.m. on Monday morning.
First arriving police officers at the scene reported finding the victim suffering from three gunshot wounds to the chest. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital by police where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
