DonateDonate monthlyDonate yearlyAn unidentified 31-year old man was reportedly found shot to death inside of a running car in the Kensington section of the city yesterday.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said the shooting happened on 2nd Street, in between Cambria & Somerset Streets at around 4:00 a.m. on Friday morning.
First arriving police officers at the scene said the victim was shot in the chest multiple times and was seated inside of a Jeep that had the engine still running. Police said the vehicle had multiple bullet holes in it.
Police said they found ballistic evidence around a block away, leaving them to believe the victim was shot a short distance away from where he was eventually found. No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
