A report from Fox-29 Philly said the crash happened at Grant Avenue & Ashton Road at around 8:00 p.m. on Thursday night.
Police said the 30-year old man, who was riding a Kawasaki Motorcycle, ran a red light at Ashton Road and collided with a Hyundai Tucson that was turning left. The motorcyclist was rushed to Jefferson University Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. The driver of the Hyundai was uninjured.
The Hyundai’s driver remained at the scene after the accident. The crash is under investigation. No charges or arrests have been reported at this time.
