A report from ABC News said the boy was lying in a lounge chair with family when he was shot. Mexican Authorities said the child suffered gunshot wounds and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he passed away shortly after arriving.
Prosecutors said the gunmen were targeting a rival drug dealer and the child was struck by stray bullets fired by the gunmen. The boy was reportedly a local resident. No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time. An investigation is ongoing…
