A 23-year old man who was suffering from a fatal gunshot wound was reportedly found by police on a sidewalk in the Frankford section of the city last night.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said police were called to the 1400 block of Overington Street for a call of “gunshots” in the area at around 10:00 p.m. on Sunday night.
Police said they found the victim in a weeded area off the street. He had been shot in the head. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
