A 16-year old boy was reportedly shot multiple times and killed in the Oxford Circle section of the city this afternoon.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said the shooting happened on the 1200 block of Van Kirk Street at around 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.
The teen was reportedly shot in the upper torso four times. He was rushed to a nearby hospital by police where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
The teenager’s name has not been released by police. No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time. An investigation is ongoing.
