The suspect wanted for shooting a 7-month old boy on Thursday night, has been arrested in connection with the shooting. The suspect is reportedly female, but her name and other information will not be released to the public until she has officially been charged with the crime.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said the shooting happened on the 4000 block of Meridian Street at around 5:50 p.m. on Thursday evening.
Video surveillance shows the gunman walking up on the baby and his parents who were outside in front of a home, and open firing. The infant was shot in the leg. Both parents scattered during the shooting. By the time police arrived, the parents were nowhere in sight. A good Samaritan at the scene rushed the infant to the hospital.
Police eventually tracked down the parents who were both uninjured. The parents said they don’t live in the area and don’t know why they were in the area. The child was last reported to be in stable condition.
