24-year old, 8th-grade Catholic School Teacher, Alanis Pinion, has been charged with allegedly sending sexually explicit photos to a 14-year old student.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said Pinion, who worked at St. Mary Magdalen School, in Wilmington, D.E., was charged with sexual solicitation of a child under 18-years of age, endangering the welfare of a child, and indecent exposure.
Pinion is alleged to have had “frequent contact with students on Snapchat” and sent photos to at least one of them. Pinion was taken into custody on Thursday and is currently being held on $46,000 cash bail. A date for Pinion’s next court appearance was not reported.
Police said they are concerned that there may be more victims who have not come forward yet.
