An unidentified 27-year old man was reportedly shot multiple times and killed in the Overbrook section of the city yesterday.
A report from KYW News Radio said the shooting happened on Gainor Road near 54th Street at around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday morning.
The victim was reportedly shot in the chest 7-times. He was rushed to Penn-Presbyterian Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
