A person of interest is reportedly in custody after an innocent victim was shot and killed by a stray bullet inside of a house in the Kensington section of the city yesterday.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said the shooting happened on the 3400 block of Tampa Street at around 1:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
Police said the incident began with a large fight between two groups of young men and women on the block. During the fight a female pulled out a gun. A male reportedly grabbed the gun from the female and began firing. A bunch of participants and spectators took off running when the shooting began. The group ran into a house on Crystal Street. The shooter began shooting into the house, still trying to hit members of the group. A 59-year old female who was inside of the house was struck in the chest and killed.
The area around the home was barricaded for hours. A person of interest and their white Buick were taken into police custody. Police were waiting on a warrant to search the vehicle, at last report. No weapons were recovered at the scene. An investigation is ongoing…
