A 20-year old man and a 31-year old man were both reportedly shot during a double shooting outside of a bar in the Kensington section of the city early this morning.
A report from NBC-10 Philly said the shooting happened in front of Jack’s Famous Bar located at Kensington & Allegheny Avenues at around 2 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Police said the 31-year old man was shot a total of three times, including once in the chest. He was rushed to a nearby hospital by private vehicle where he was last reported to be in stable condition. The 20-year old victim was shot in the leg. He was transported to a nearby hospital by police where he was also last reported to be in stable condition. Eight shell casings were recovered at the scene. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time.
