A man who opened fired on passing cars on a busy street in San Jacinto, California earlier this week, has been identified as 39-year old, Julio Rodarte.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said the incident happened on State Street, North of W. 7th Street at around 7 a.m. on Monday morning.
Investigators said the morning’s events began when Rodarte reportedly went to a market in the area to purchase a shot of liquor. He didn’t have enough money for the liquor. Roderts allegedly left the store and returned minutes later brandishing a firearm. Without a word being said, Rodarte opened fire inside of the business. Witnesses reported hearing around 30-shots fired during the incident.
After firing off multiple shots, Rodarte reportedly removed the clip from the gun and tossed it. He then tossed the gun, before taking off all of his clothes. He then began walking. Police caught up to Rodarte moments later and took him into custody. 42-year old, Victor Hugo, was shot and killed and another person was injured during the shooting incident. Hugo was on his way home after working the overnight shift at his job.
