A 65-year old woman was reportedly shot and killed in the Tacony section of the city this morning during a dispute between neighbors.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said police were called to the 7100 block of Montague Street for a report of a neighbor dispute and gunshots, shortly before noon on Tuesday morning.
First responding police at the scene reported finding the victim deceased from gunshot wounds outside of the property. The alleged shooter was inside of the property and refused to come out, leading to a barricade situation.
The male suspect was taken into custody without incident after finally exiting the home after barricading himself inside for around an hour.
