A 23-year old man has reportedly been taken into custody after an 18-year old male was shot and killed inside of an apartment in the Roxborough section of the city last night.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said police were called to an apartment on the 7900 block of Henry Avenue at around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday night.
Investigators said there was a possible domestic dispute between two parties. A third party intervened, and that was when the 23-year old allegedly shot him before jumping from a 4th story window. That was where first arriving police found the suspect, still holding the weapon. The 18-year old showed up at the hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead a few hours after arriving. The motive was listed as a domestic argument between the suspect and his girlfriend.
Investigators believe the couple, who live in the apartment, got into an argument. The woman called family and friends to the scene. They attempted to intervene in the fight when the 23-year old pulled out a gun and fired at least one shot.
“For some reason, the 23-year old who we believe fired the shot, jumped out of the 4th floor window. He was not injured, he remained on scene, did cooperate with police”, said Police Chief Inspector Scott Small.
