A 75-year old woman and her 58-year old daughter were both reportedly found stabbed to death in the basement of a home in the Crescentville section of the city this afternoon.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said police were called to the 6000 block of Bingham Street at around 1:30 on Tuesday afternoon.
First responding police officers at the scene reported finding two women suffering from multiple stab wounds in the basement of the house. Both victims were pronounced deceased at the scene. A possible motive for the stabbings was not reported.
Two men were taken in for questioning. One of the men taken in for questioning was one victims’ husband and the other victim’s son-in-law. He reportedly had cuts and blood all over his hands when taken in for questioning.
