An unidentified man was reportedly struck and killed by a hit and run driver in Norristown last night.
A report form 6-ABC Action News said the incident happened at Main & Astor Streets at around 11 p.m. on Sunday night.
Investigators said the driver struck the victim and kept going. The impact of the crash knocked the victim’s shoe off. Additional clothing was also found at the scene. Police didn’t say if the victim was crossing the street when he was hit.
No description of the suspect or suspect’s vehicle was reported. Investigators said it is unclear which direction the driver fled in after the accident. No arrests have been made at this time.
