18-year old, Divine Allen Hargrove was arrested and charged with armed robbery earlier this week after attempting to rob a Door Dash delivery driver at Lynnewood Gardens Apartment Complex in Cheltenham Township, P.A./Elkins Park.
A report from Glenside Local said police were called to the Lynnewood Gardens Apartment Complex in Elkins Park P.A. at around 2:40 a.m. on Tuesday night for a report of a robbery with shots fired.
The victim of the attempted robbery was a Door Dash Delivery Driver. He told police that he was making a delivery when he was approached by the suspect brandishing a weapon and demanding the keys to the driver’s vehicle. The driver, who is licensed to carry, pulled out his own weapon and open fired at the suspect, who fled on foot.
The suspect was captured by Cheltenham Police, including the K-9 Unit. Hargrove was arrested on possession of a handgun with an extended clip holding 26-rounds of live ammunition, and a ski mask. Investigators said the address that the driver delivered to had not placed the order.
Hargrove is currently being held at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility on a $100,000 cash bail. No one was reported hit by gunfire and no physical injuries were reported. An investigation is ongoing…
