A mother accidentally struck and killed her 2-year old daughter while attempting to park her vehicle in the Crescentville section of the city yesterday.
A report from CBS-3 Philly said the incident happened on the 200 block of Comly Street at around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening.
Investigators said the mother took her daughter into the house and then came back outside to park her car. The mother didn’t realize that the child had followed her back outside. The child was struck by the vehicle as the mother attempted to park the car. The 2-year old was rushed to Einstein Hospital where the child was pronounced deceased as a result of her injuries.
No charges have been filed against the mother.
