An unidentified man was reportedly killed after crashing his car into the White House gates while traveling at a high rate of speed over the weekend.

A report from CNN said the incident happened at around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday night. Officials said the car was traveling at a high rate of speed before it slammed into the White House gates.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. President Joe Biden was not at the White House at the time of the incident. Biden reportedly spent his weekend in Delaware.
