The driver of the truck was reportedly beat up by a few of the suspects when he attempted to stop the robbery. Police say this makes the second cargo theft in the last 10-days.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said the incident happened while the truck was parked on the 4300 block of Byberry Road at around 5:30 a.m. on Friday morning.
Police said they are looking for up to 12 suspects who drove up in four cars. Police said around two pallets of crabs were stolen from the truck.
“It was Grandpa Harvey’s snow crabs. Two pallets, approximately 100 boxes valued at $30,000”, said Police Captain, Jack Ryan.
Police said the truck was parked at the Walmart delivery dock at the Philadelphia Mills Mall when the driver was alerted by a security system. The security system didn’t scare the thieves off and neither did the driver. He was pummeled by two of the suspects. The driver was treated for his injuries at the scene.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
