A report from 6-ABC Action News said the incident happened at the Redner’s Store in Middletown Township at around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday night.

The victim told police she parked her truck near the rear of the parking lot. She said she was grabbed from behind by a man, almost immediately after exiting her vehicle. The victim said she screamed and attempted to get away, but could not, due to the tight grip the man had on her. The suspect reportedly pulled down the woman’s pants and punched her in the face. The suspect then picked the woman up and attempted to move toward his truck. The woman’s loud screams likely scared the suspect off, causing him to retreat to his vehicle and flee the scene.

The woman’s description of the suspect and vehicle led police to Bristol Township where Pierson was arrested driving a different vehicle on Wednesday night. He was arrested and is currently being held on a $1 million bail.
