2 suspects are reportedly in police custody after a carjacking in West Philadelphia turned into a police chase that lasted for about a half hour and went from Philadelphia to Montgomery County, before finally ending in Mantua.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said the incident began when a Jeep was stolen in West Philadelphia at around 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday night.
Police pursued the suspects into Montgomery County before the suspects’ vehicle got onto I-76. Police were finally able to stop the car on the 3900 block of Reno Street. Two suspects were taken into custody.
Authorities said they are looking for a third suspect. No injuries were reported. An investigation is ongoing…
