An unidentified man was reportedly stabbed after attempting to break up a fight on a PATCO Train Platform in Center City yesterday.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said the incident happened on the Patco Platform at 8th & Market Streets at around 6:00 p.m. on Monday evening.
First responding police officers at the scene reported finding the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. Investigators said the victim was attempting to intervene in a physical altercation between an unidentified man and a woman. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was last reported to be in stable condition.
The woman, who had been punched in the face, was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation. The man fled the scene after the stabbing. No arrests have been made at this time. No description of the suspect was given.
