Oscar & Emmy Award winning actor Louis Gossett Jr. reportedly passed away on Friday March 29, 2024. He was 87-years old.
A report from The Associated Press said Gossett’s family released a statement announcing his death on Friday afternoon. A cause of death has not been revealed at this time.
“Never mind the awards, never mind the glitz and glamour, the Rolls Royces and the big houses in Malibu. It’s about the humanity of the people he stood for” said an unnamed family member of the actor, who walked with Nelson Mandela and “fought racism with dignity and humor”.
