Ash Cooper (formerly known as Joshua), who was 17-years old at the time of arrests, pleaded guilty to shooting and killing 12-year old, Morgan Connors at a trailer park in November of 2022.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said after shooting and killing Connors at the Top Of The Ridge Trailer Park, Cooper showed a female friend Connors’ blood-soaked, deceased, body via Instagram Video Chat.
Cooper reportedly asked the same teen to help assist with disposing the body. The teen told her mom. Her mom told police. According to Bensalem Police, Cooper told investigators that he was cleaning out his dad’s safe and sorting through guns and ammunition when Connors arrived at the house. Cooper claims the girl went to the bathroom. That’s where detectives say she was killed.
The coroner’s office said Connor’s cause of death was a gunshot wound to the neck and upper chest area. Cooper pleaded guilty to 3rd-degree murder on Thursday. Cooper is facing between 15-40 years in prison when sentenced. Cooper’s sentencing date was not reported.
