34-year old, Zakkee Alhakim and 35-year old Julie Jean were both found guilty in the murder of 35-year old school teacher Rachel King, who was killed in front of her 11-year old son as they waited at a Dunkin’ drive thru last April.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said it took a jury less than an hour to convict the pair of first-degree murder.

Prosecutors argued that Alhakim was the gunman and that Jean hired him to kill Rachel King. Jean was reportedly the ex of King’s boyfriend at the time. Investigators said Alhakim parked a short distance from the drive-thru, walked up to King’s window, and fired multiple shots.
The report did not give any information about the date of Alhakim and Jean’s sentencing.
