One man was reportedly killed during a double shooting in the Kensington section of the city yesterday.
A report from Fox-29 Philly said the shooting happened on the 1800 block of Lippincott Street at around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
Police said a gunman opened fire on the two injured individuals. A 25-year old man was shot in the chest. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he died as a result of his injuries shortly after arriving. A 23-year old woman was also hit by gunfire. She was shot once in the arm. That victim was also taken to Temple University Hospital where she was last reported to be in stable condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time. An investigation is ongoing…
