43-year old Tequesha Boxill was reportedly found strangled to death inside of her home in the Nicetown-Tioga section of the city earlier this week.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said police were called to the victim’s home on the 1400 block of Venango Street at around 11 a.m. on Wednesday morning, after co-workers at her job became concerned when the victim didn’t show up for work.
Police arrested Boxill’s 55-year old neighbor, Allen Legree, who reportedly lives in an apartment in the same building. A possible motive for the murder was not reported. Legree has been charged with murder, tampering with evidence, and obstruction of justice.
Friend and family of Boxill’s said she had repeatedly had concerns about Legree.
