A 35-year old man was reportedly shot and injured when a masked gunman walked into a deli in the Nicetown section of the city and opened fire last night.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said the shooting happened inside of the Junction Beer Deli located on the 4500 block of North 20th Street at around 11:15 p.m. on Thursday night.
Police said there were two employees and six customers inside of the deli when the masked gunman walked in and opened fire. The victim was shot twice in the leg. He was taken to Temple University Hospital by private vehicle where he was last reported to be in stable condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects were named and no arrests have been made at this time. An investigation is ongoing.
