29-year old, Alleem Borden, who escaped police custody while at Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia on Monday, was apprehended in Western Pennsylvania this afternoon.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said Borden was apprehended by U.S. Marshals in Cambria County, P.A. on Thursday afternoon.
Borden was originally arrested on Thursday for stealing a car from a delivery driver. He was captured when he was found sleeping inside of the stolen vehicle. While being processed, Borden complained of having pains. Borden was taken to a nearby hospital per police policy when an arrestee complains of pain, according to police.
“If a prisoner complains of pains or has an injury, it’s our policy that we take them to a facility. He was checked out and discharged”, said Philadelphia Police Deputy Commissioner, Frank Vanore.
Borden escaped from police custody while being discharged. Borden outran multiple police officers during the escape. With his hands cuffed behind his back.
