A teenager was reportedly injured during a shooting on a SEPTA train in the Tioga-Nicetown section of the city last night.

A 6-ABC Action News report said the shooting happened on a Broad Street Line train in the Nicetown-Tioga area at around 9 p.m. on Saturday night.
According to police, a man in his 20’s was attacked by another man on the train. The man who was being attacked had a permit to carry. He pulled out his gun during the tussle between the two. The gun went off during the struggle, striking a 17-year old bystander. The teen was taken to Einstein Medical Center where he was last reported to be in stable condition. The 20-year old was also take to Einstein Medical Center to be treated for injuries.
Police said they are searching for the man involved in the initial altercation. No other injuries were reported. An investigation is ongoing.
