4 people were reportedly left injured after a shooting near a college campus in Allentown, P.A. yesterday.

A report from 6-ABC Action News said the shooting happened at 18th & West Turner Streets, not too far from Muhlenberg College, at around 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening.

Neighbors said they heard about 8 gunshots. The college was placed on lockdown and people in the area were told to shelter in place. Four victims are said to have shown up at area hospitals after the shooting, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The current condition of the victims was not reported. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.

Police gave the all clear and the lockdown was lifted once police deemed the incident “complete”, but no suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made at this time.
