A report from CBS-3 Philly said Williams was convicted of third-degree murder, possession of an instrument of crime, and illegal possession of a firearm.

Police said Collington was shot and killed near the 2200 block of N. Park Avenue while unloading his SUV. The Temple student was just returning back to school after being home for the Thanksgiving holiday, according to police. That was when Williams reportedly snuck up on Collington from behind. A struggle ensued. Collington was shot in the chest and back. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced deceased shortly after arriving.

Williams is scheduled to be sentenced for this case on May 1, 2024. Williams is also awaiting trial in a separate carjacking that took place in 2021. An elderly man was the victim in that jacking.
