An attempted carjacking in Northeast Philly last night reportedly ended in a police pursuit, and four suspects being taken into custody.
A report from 6-ABC Action News said the incident began shortly before midnight on Sunday, when police picked up the chase on a white Dodge Durango that was alleged to contain carjacking suspects connected to a jacking near Friends Hospital in Northeast Philly .
The chase ended when the Durango crashed into a Ford Explorer near Whitaker Avenue & Roosevelt Boulevard. Four suspects were taken into custody. At least one of the suspects were reported to be in possession of a gun when arrested.
Police said the suspects’ Durango had been reported stolen at an earlier date. An investigation is ongoing.
