The Kansas City Chiefs became back-to-back Super Bowl Champions after Patrick Mahomes & Travis Kelce led the team to a 25-22 overtime victory over the San Francisco 49ers last night.
The Chiefs were led by Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes who went 34/46 for 333 yards, 2 TD’s, and 1 int. Sunday night’s win marks the third Super Bowl victory in the past 5 years for Andy Reid’s Chiefs, causing some sports experts to label this Chiefs team “a dynasty”. Mahomes threw a 3-yard TD to Mecole Hardman with 3 seconds left in overtime to conclude Super Bowl 58.
“With all the adversity we’ve been through this season to come through tonight…..I’m proud of the guys. This is awesome. Legendary” Super Bowl MVP, Patrick Mahomes said following the win.
